My Story – I write, travel, work, and am an entrepreneur. My latest book is called Finding Tiger. My international bestseller is called Sunrises to Santiago: Searching for Purpose on the Camino de Santiago. I have had 10 “careers” (so far) and have traveled the world following an important compass, curiosity, in search of deeper purpose. I know there are others like me. I am someone who has followed curiosity to the ends of the earth. What is my purpose? Why am I here? Do these questions sound familiar? I have had some amazing “careers” including: travel journalist and television host on the Travel Channel, radio disc jockey, study abroad coordinator, videographer, teacher in Spain and now author/entrepreneur. To me, that is a unique life and a successful pursuit of curiosity.

You hate your job and don’t know what to do. You are searching for purpose. You want your life to mean something. You think your job is OK but are ready for something new. What To Expect From This Site
How To Find and Live Your Purpose

Curious Lives – Above all things, we want to inspire people to live their purpose.  A curious life is one in which you give yourself permission to explore things that are interesting to you and continue learning throughout life. I don’t believe that most of us have only one thing we should be doing for the rest of our lives. I think change is healthy as our interests evolve over time. What to Expect: How to find your purpose and how to define success. How to live an interesting life with balance.

Curious Careers – Do you hate your current job or are just ready for a change? Are you panicking because you may not know what that next career will be? Does this question frustrate you or cause panic: What do you want to do with the rest of your life? What is your passion? Unfortunately, for those of us who have never had one passion or one career, then this question causes great stress in our lives. If you are a happy and passionate doctor, engineer or (insert any career here), and know that this is your calling in life, I congratulate you, but you probably won’t find much useful here. Finding something that sticks is the ultimate goal, but it won’t happen unless you embrace curiosity. What to Expect: Content that provides inspiration, direction and guidance on what to do when you hate your job and don’t know where to turn. How to start over. How to define true success. The site also features entrepreneurial advice and alternative ways to make money both home and abroad while featuring stories from people who have had the courage to follow their own curiosity.

Curious Adventures –  I recently completed the nearly 500 mile trek across the north of Spain known as the Camino de Santiago. It was life changing and a new book, Sunrises to Santiago, was born. If you have ever felt lost, looking for your purpose in life, with no path or direction, then this book is for you. It chronicles a travel adventure of course, but in many aspects, it illustrates coming to terms with and learning to love a curious life. What to Expect: The Curious Life Project will feature curious adventures around the world that may inspire you to pack up and leave with your passport soon. Not only the Camino de Santiago  (planning resources here), but travel breaks that show you how to live abroad, like teaching in Spain for example. The site also features the great outdoors and journeys that inspire personal growth around the world.
